Dr. Kellei B. Samuels, Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, Research, Assessment & PlanningTuskegee University, Tuskegee, AL
Dr. Kellei Bishop Samuels currently serves as Associate Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, Assessment, and Planning and as the liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) at Tuskegee University.
Dr. Samuels brings over 25 years of experience in secondary and post-secondary education. In her role as Associate Vice President, she coordinates and integrates institutional functions that foster operational efficiency, student success and continuous improvement. Her leadership ensures directing the work of Institutional Effectiveness, Institutional Assessment and Institutional Research, and coordinating the completion of over 45 Institutional Data Surveys and Reports, including US News and World Report Best Colleges.
Having worked in administrative roles at two of the country’s largest school districts managing assessment and accountability efforts. Her research centers around strategic planning, accreditation, accountability, data management, and institutional performance.
Dr. Samuels holds a bachelor’s degree from Jackson State University, a master’s from Mississippi State University and a Ph.D. from Jackson State University.
